NEW OTTAWA COUNTY COURTHOUSE GRAND RAPIDS, MICH., September 6, 2006- Interphase recently provided all office furniture for the new Ottawa County Courthouse, which opened in Holland in June. The project was awarded to Interphase after a competitive bid process. Interphase utilized Haworth products for the 36,000 square-foot project, which included thirty private offices, 21 open workstations, and jury room seating. Project components included Haworth’s Premise workstation system, Haworth Adaptable Components work surfaces and lighting, and the new environmental award-winning Haworth Zody chair. “It’s always gratifying to win a competitive bid process and handle a project for the public sector. The Courthouse is a space that is used by thousands of individuals each week, so it is also a high profile project in the community. We were delighted to be a part of it,” said Interphase President Randy DeBoer. The new Courthouse, designed by Joe Mar Associates with construction completed by Erhardt Construction, is located at 57 West Eighth Street in downtown Holland.
